Maria Pellot, Associate Principal at UrbanWorks, was highlighted as part of Florida International University’s ‘Leaders of Design’ Alumni Exhibition + Panel Discussion for their School of Architecture. The exhibition, running from February 5th – March 19th, 2015, features the work of 28 alumni working in the fields of Architecture, Interior Architecture, Landscape Architecture, and Environmental and Urban Design. Maria’s work on the Veterans Memorial School, Galewood School, La Casa Student Housing, Living Green Building and Epicenter: Work|Live|Heal projects were on display as part of the exhibit.
The opening night panel discussion was moderated by Professor Jason Chandler, Chair of the FIU Department of Architecture. It included a panel of ten alumni, discussing their education at FIU and how it prepared them for careers at design firms in the United States and abroad.
