UrbanWorks Principal Pat Natke recently co-chaired the AIA Chicago Equity Roundtable, which held its second open meeting on October 10th, 2019.The meeting was used to share current AIA National Initiatives, as well as to discuss the Roundtable’s goals. These include creating guidelines for equitable, diverse, and inclusive practice, developing a firm self-assessment tool, requiring EDI data as part of the AIA Awards submissions, and ensuring that AIA publications reflect EDI.
