Jeremy Olsen joined UrbanWorks in 2023 as a Senior Architect. He previously was studio director for a full-service design-build architecture firm and provided technical coordination for several Chicago firms. His work has concentrated on the secondary education and early childhood education markets and he has coordinated notable art installations at architecturally significant sites including the Garfield Park Conservatory and a large-scale sculpture park at the Denver Federal Center.
A Navy veteran, Jeremy has served in leadership positions with the Chicago Chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI). An active member of the UIC Architecture Alumni Association, he has served as a juror at this alma mater, as well as IIT and the Art Institute of Chicago.
A resident of Oak Park, Jeremy is active in church and civic community-building activities. He is a history buff and active hiker whose leisure activities include gardening, home improvement, and collecting tools. Jeremy hopes to backpack the Continental Divide Trail.
